Hello Team,

This might be basic, but could you tell me about overwrite mode of TCAN4550.
In the FIFO register of overwrite-mode is configured for 1, Will the old data be overwrite in order?
And if the memory becomes full during receiving data, will the old data be overwritten?

    Hello Sato-san,

    When the FIFO is configured in overwrite mode, when the FIFO is full any new data items will overwrite the oldest data item.

    FYI, there are fuller descriptions of the MCAN-specific register bits and functions found in the Bosch MCAN User's Guide.  I would recommend referencing this as a supplement to the TCAN4550-Q1 datasheet, since in many cases the MCAN-specific items are described only briefly by our datasheet.
