SN65DSI83-Q1: 0x0a bit7 abnormal read back

Part Number: SN65DSI83-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DSI-TUNER

Hi Expert,

Recently, my customer found some units report "PLL not enabled" (0x0a bit7 turns to 0),while the function is OK. This happens frequently, and if we read back 0x0d, the value is 01. And no matter 0x0a bit7 read 0 or 1, the function is always OK.

If we manually write 0x0d with 00, display disappeared as we  expected and 0x0a bit7 is 0. At this time, we write 0x0d with 01, display is OK but 0x0a bit7 is still 0.

Could you pls help on this case, is there any possible reason that might cause this issue(0x0a bit7 abnormal low)? Thanks!

Best Regards,

Wilson
