DS90UB936-Q1: Can the 936 configure to only output 2 CSI lanes?

HI team,

My customer is asking if our 936 can configure to output only D3P/N, D2P/N paired with CLK1P/N? Current they only use one camera at input port0.

If yes, could you kindly help with a detailed configuration?

    Hello,

    I believe the best way to do this would be with the CSI replicate mode found in the datasheet under section 7.4.22.  Using this you can recreate the data on lanes 0 and 1 to be exactly the same as on lanes 2 and 3.  When configuring the 936 be sure to set only 2 data lanes be used in the CSI_CTL register and set the CSI_REPLICATE but in FWD_CTL2 register.
