According to the datasheet, the operating temperature is -40~85 when 3.6V ~5.5V power supply while the operating temperature is -40~125 when 1.8-3.6V power supply. So the question is this: Our customer need to test the application equipment, and put TCA9548A into the temperature switching test box. There are three temperature test points, -10degree, 25 degree and 80 degree. What he need is to switch the temperature, for example, changed -10 degree to 25 degree and then changed to 85 degree, and the changing period is 2hours. That it to say, -10 degree need 2 hours, 25 degree need 2 hours, and 85 degree also need 2 hours, and the whole period is 6hours.
So is TCA9548A used for this application? Does it keep the function stable?
