DP83867IR: use 100 Mbps

Good day,

How to physically realize the use of 100 Mbit with the programmed capability of 10/100/1000 Mbit? Are there any restrictions on the choice of differential pairs or can you choose any? Or must I use all 8 output pins?

    Hi Ilia,

    By default 100mbps will be on channel A and B, but you can also assign channel C and D for 100mbps by enabling mirror mode. You may refer to mirror mode section in the datasheet for details.

    You may force the speed to 10/100/1000 by the strap configurations. Kindly refer to programming section of the datasheet.
