TCAN1042-Q1: Temperature issue

Hi Experts:

I have one question related to the ambient temperature.

The TCAN1042 is powered by the 5V but doesn't work since there is no communication , in this scenario , could the device be stable w/o damaging in the -55degree

Hi Jason,

Yes, the device can withstand exposure to -55 C. This is the minimum limit of the absolute maximum junction temperature range.

However, i think in this scenario , the device is powered by 5V and it should work , could it supprt the -55degree as well?

Yes, the device will be operational at -55 C.
