Is there any reference guide or any documents available for cabling toplogy and considerations for RS- 485? Like dealing with stub during "Multiple T arrangement" ,Drive strength consideration and Fan-out

Any recommendations and cautions regarding cable design when used fot multi drop bus?

I have one more doubt . Can a "COMMON mode choke" can be used for resolving the ground potential differences ?

Karthik,

I think common mode choke are commonly used for signal's transient behavior, while the ground potential difference is a DC bias. Here is an app note for common mode choke.
