DP83867IS: About DP83867 power sequence.

I looked at the datasheet "10 Power Supply Recommendations",
I understand that "two-supply mode" does not specify a power sequence.

Therefore,
VDIO 3.3 V is always ON.
Only when the DP 83867 operates, 2.5 V/1.8 V should be turned on.

Is there a problem?

Hello,

Thanks for your question about the DP83867. That is correct that in two supply mode you do not need the sequence, however you will need all core supplies powered on to use the device.

Are you asking whether the IO voltage needs to constantly be supplied?

The purpose is to reduce the load SW to the DP 83867 for cutting 3.3 V.

Even when the DP 83867 is not used, 3.3 V is always supplied by other ICs.

Hi, that should be ok. The PHY will only power on once IO and Core voltages are supplied.
