Hi,

We use a crystal as the external clock for the TUSB9261.

The crystal's required specifications include the connection IC terminal load capacity.

So I have a question.

Please tell me the design value of the load capacitance between the XI and XO terminals of TUSB9261.

If you are using a crystal please refer to section 6.9 Crystal Specification in the datasheet for design values.

Question 1

Is the load capacitance of the XI pin the CXI (0.414pF) specified in the data sheet?

Question 2

The load capacity of the XO pin is not described in the data sheet,

but is it OK to use the same value as CXI(0.414pF)?

Hi,

Yes, XI and X0 pin input capacitance is 0.414pF (typ). Are you using a Oscillator or Crystal. If you are using a Crystal then a external load capacitance of 12-24 pF should be used. You can see an example implementation of a crystal in the Implementation guide linked below (9.1 Crystal Selection).
