MIPI(or Parallel) to LVDS (Serializer)

Hi Expert,

I have a new project that needs camera with a long cable.

The camera sensor has dual interfaces that are MIPI and parallel and CPU(QCS610) has only MIPI CSI.

Could you recommend the interface convert IC for as below:

Camera seneor (MIPI/Parallel) -> LVDS(Serializer) -> LVDS(deserializer) -> MIPI

    Hello Devin, 

    Could you give a little more information regarding the camera resolution/bandwidth? I could suggest that you use a DS90UB953/933 (SER) and a DS90UB954 (DES). The DS90UB953 has a CSI-2 interface and can handle larger camera resolutions. The DS90UB933 has a parallel interface and can handle smaller camera resolutions. The DS90UB954 will output CSI-2 data.
