I'm interested in implementing FPD-Link III as an interface between two subsystems in a next-gen product that is required to be electrically isolated by stringent guidelines. Currently, we're using a more complex interface and isolating the subsystems by implementing fiber, but from my research FPD-Link doesn't support fiber connections. Are there any recommended alternatives?
