Dear team,

Could you kindly help answer several questions of tusb4020 about the schematic design?

1. If customer did not have charging function, could they left PIN 4/5/6/8 float?

2. Customer see the VBUS-USB power supply is 5V in EVM guide, if the power supply is 3.3V, how do they select divided resistor?

3. Could you help review the schematic, especially see if PIN 21/22/35/36 is set right?

I have question about C272 and R214, the document recommend 10uF and 4.7K Ohm, but the datasheet recommend 1uF and 1K Ohm.

Hi Sammi,

Either 1 uF or 10 uF can be used for power stability purposes. Either 1k or 4.7k can be used as well. I recommend 4.7k for a weaker pull down.
