Hi,

one of my customers is facing the following issue:

"We run one Re-Driver PCBA with TMDS181, and use PCA9306 to level translator for I2C and to TPD12S016 to drive about 10m HDMI Cable. But TPD12S016 ‘s Input low level is 0.082*VDD(0.082*3.3=0.27V), so the output from PCA9306 will cause the TPD12S016 always output I2C as high signal, not the real I2C."

They changed the level translator to TCA9517 that the output low level voltage is 0.2V max.

Do you have a solution for the issue? Does it work with the TCA9517.

Hi Bock,

The low logic is define 0.082*Vcca , it need to make sure the output voltage lower than this voltage threshold.

You can lower your VCCA voltage. If that you can let the logic low be lower accordingly.
