Hi,
I want to know about video transmission length at below condition.
* Condition
-. Camera Resolution : 1920x1080 / 60fps / 24bit
-. Coaxial Cable
Could you please let me know it ASAP?
Best regards,
Michael

Hello Michael,
can you tell me what do you mean by "video transmission length" ? Do you mean transmission distance or delay or what exactly?
Hi Hamzeh,
I'm sorry for your confusion.
My question is transmission distance.
Best regards,
Michael
Hello Michael,
for the 953 - 954 pair you have the following Transmission Channel budget, which should not be exceeded. The transmission distance depends on the cable type you are using, if lossy cable or less lossy cable.
Insertion Loss, S21
f=1MHz -1.4dB
f=5MHz -2.3dB
f=10MHz -2.5dB
f=50MHz -3.5dB
f=100MHz -4.5dB
f=500 MHz -9.5dB
f=1.0 GHz -14.0dB
f=2.1 GHz -21.6dB
Hi Hamzeh,
Could you give me data like ds90ub948 datasheet section "7.3.12.1 Transmission Distance"?
I need reference data about distance(meter) for our customer.
I'm looking forward to receiving it from you.
Best regards,
Michael
Hello Michael,
unfortunately we do not provide it in this way for these devices.
For the 948 it is different, because there the data rate is varying with the PCLK, but for the 95x, 96x devices they are running at a fixed data rate hence it is very easy for the customer to calculate. They just need to know what type of cable they are using and then calculate the length.
They also need to consider in their calculations the Insertion loss of the PCB and the connectors.
