What's the difference between TIDA-01002 and TIDA-01003 besides the power supply ?

I put the lens holder (CMT821b) on the PCB TIDA-01002 and see that the lens holder is not symmetric to the sensor AS0140AT. Why?

Hello Vlad,

Imagers often have optical centers that are not in the exact center of the imager package. To have 'centered' image using the entire active imager array, the imager is placed such that the optical center is at the center of the lens holder, as opposed to the imager package center being symmetric with the lens holder.

For this reason, the imager package is not symmetric with the lens holder, but instead the optical center of the active array of the imager is symmetric with lens holder.
