TUSB8044AEVM: Port 1 is not working accurate

Hi Team,

one of our customer is evaluating our TUSB8044A. Now they had a issue with the related EVM TUSB8044AEVM.

On all 4 ports they are connected Demo boards TUSB9261.

The ports 2,3 and 4 detected the SATA device and the port 1 not.

The port1 don’t work as USB3.0 only USB 2.0 devices are detected.

Do you have any idea to fix this issue?

    Hi Martin,

    This sounds like an assembly or ESD damage issue.

    Did Port 1 ever work at USB 3.0 speeds?  Can they check the hub and connector for any solder issues?

    Hello JMMN,

    Martin have create this Task for my demoboard.

    I have recive a second board and the all Ports wors with USB 3.0 Speed.

    I will send the defekt board back to the Distributor, but I need a   confirmation from you side for the reture.

    I can't see on defekt board a bad soldering issues or demages.

    Yes, let me know what kind of confirmation you need from me.  The ports should have been verified after assembly.
