DS90UB954-Q1: Margin analysis program without CMOS sensor

Hi team,

I have a question about MAP tool when DS90UB953EVM and 954EVM are connnected by STP coax cable.

Is it able to use MAP tool without connecting CMOS sensor to 953EVM? In this case, should I use Pattern generator as a signal for MAP analysis?
