PCA9545A: check PCA9545A risks if right side power up earlier than left side

Part Number: PCA9545A

Hi team

My customer is using the PCA9545 now. VCC is P3V3.  upstream side i2c pull up to P3V3. downstream side i2c is pull up to P3V3_STBY. P3V3_STBY is powered earlier than P3V3, whether it has risks here? in my opinion, it should be fine. May need you to double check it. Thanks.

  • Hi Frank,

"P3V3_STBY is powered earlier than P3V3, whether it has risks here?"

    This is fine.

Can you tell me how the RESET pin is biased? We don't allow for the reset pin to be higher than Vcc when Vcc is unpowered so you should double check this.
