HI Team,
In the data sheet, 1043 EN is high and STB is low. There are three modes. Under what circumstances do they enter different modes?

Amelie,
When NSTB is initially pulled low (for example, from normal mode), the device enters go-to-sleep mode. It will remain in this state for the t_go-to-sleep time, which varies from 5 us to 50 us. After this time, it automatically transitions to sleep mode. When in sleep mode, reception of a wake-up request (via WAKE terminal or via wake-up pattern detection on CANH/CANL) triggers a transition into standby mode. You may want to refer to the state diagram in Figure 21 of the datasheet - it gives a good overview of how the device can be transitioned between the various modes. If you have any further questions please let us know.
Regards,
Max
