DP83869HM：DP83869HM Read the 0X1DF

HI,

I have a question for you.When reading the DP83869HM chip register, it was found that 0X1DF (OP_MODE_DECODE) register was read back with the value of 0XFFFF. The following list is the value of the register read by me:

Register 0000 is: 1140
Register 0001 is: 7949
Register 0002 is: 2000
Register 0003 is: A0F1
Register 0004 is: 01E1
Register 0005 is: 0000

I used the following sections from the datasheet and EVM user manual:

Hi Johnny,

Are you using the extended registers to read 0x1DF? The steps are outlined in our datasheet on how to access registers beyond 0x1F.

Hi Cecilia,

Your edited information has helped me. It turns out that I didn't do it right on my side.

The 0x1DF register was successfully read for configuration by referring to the introduction of datasheet "9.4.9.1 Extended Address Space Access".Thanks again!
