Hi,
Is it possible to provide the details of FX_TDP/M and FX_RDP/M? Like a interface equivalent circuit?
Is it like a common ADC and DAC interface?
It will be very helpful to design the connection to different fiber transceiver.
Best wishes,
Sam

Hi Sam,
Our functional block diagram in the datasheet may help you with the internal circuitry at a high level.
Let me know if that clarifies it for you.
Thanks,
Cecilia
Hi Cecelia,
The function block diagram is very helpful for understanding.
But for circuit design it is necessary to know the input/output impedance, voltage bias and level range, etc..
The fiber transceiver in our design is CML interface. Is it Ok if we use the connections in the diagram of your datasheets?
Thanks for your help.
Sam
Hi Sam,
Let me confirm if you can use the same specifications for fiber transceiver.
I can provide my feedback by EOD tuesday.
Thanks,
Cecilia
Hi Sam,
For circuit design you may refer to our fiber network. In fiber mode only capacitive coupling and pull up resistors are necessary for connection between the Fiber inputs of the PHY to the transceiver.
Thanks,
Cecilia
Thank you for the update Sam please let us know the results once you test.
Thanks,
Cecilia
