DS90UB954-Q1: RX_PORT_STS2 register gets BUFFER_ERROR

Hi experts,

I am using UB953-UB954 for seriliser and deseriliser. UB953 working at csi-2 non-synchronous external clock mode. Unfortunately i get the RX_PORT_STS2 register's BUFFER_ERROR. It says "an overflow condition has occurred". Could you please give me some more details about in which condition i will get an overflow?

Hello Hutian,

Buffer errors occur when the CSI-2 output rate programmed for the 954 has insufficient bandwidth to forward the data which is coming in from the remote serializer. Please check the input CSI-2 data rate/number of lanes from the sensor compared to the programmed output speed in register 0x1F for 954 and the number of CSI-2 lanes used.
