We are using TUSB8044A ports in one of our application canwe use 4 USB 2.0 and 3 USB super speed connection simultaneously. Hence effectively creating 8 ports.

So the TUSB8044A doesn't care what is connected and can support simultaneous USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 data streams, however, the USB specification requires that USB 3.0 devices be able to drop to USB 2.0 speeds. So while the hub can tolerate this behavior of connection USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 to separate devices, TI cannot guarantee that the USB host controllers and drivers will be able to do so.
