I have the following problems when designing TPS65987D:
1. When my device uses TPS65987D and only works in UFP mode, do I need to connect the PP_CABLE pin?
2. If VBUS is used as the source of LDO_3V3, can VIN_3V3 be connected to the open source?

Hi Adam:
I think about the first point, is to connect a capacitor to ground
Regarding the second point, from the DATASHEET, it can be used by the internal LDO through VBUS.
Can help review the attached schematic?

Hi Chunnan,

For the 1st question,

If you need Vconn to drive UFP side e-mark in the near end of the cable, you need to connect PP_CABLE pin to a source (5V).

For the 2cn question,

Device(TPS65987) sourced from VBUS-LDO is used in Dead Battery mode. In a normal mode, the device should be sourced by VIN_3V3, which means VIN_3V3 should be tied to a source.
