DP83867IR: min pull-down resistor value to increase LED current.

Hi,

My customer wants to set MODE1 of bootstrap on LED0 pin.  According to datasheet, LED0 is connected with GND through LED and 470ohm resistor.

What purpose of this 470ohm resistor?   Please advise us the minimum resistor value on the case of MODE1 bootstrap.  He wants to change the LED current.
