Hi team,
Using TMDS181RGZT and TPD12S016RKTR to build the HDMI signal channel between FPGA and display (FPGA is the sending end and the display is the receiving end).The signal level of DDC and HPD of HDMI interface in FPGA is 2.5V, so TPD12S016RKTR level conversion chip uses 2.5V power supply.
The current problem is: FPGA provides 5V to the display, the display sends HPD signal to FPGA, FPGA machine reads the relevant information of display through I2C, and sends HDMI clock signal to retimer, but retimer chip does not output HDMI signal to display.
Hardware configuration:
1. Pin1 SWAP/POL floating
2. Pin10 I2C EN 64.9k pull down to GND
3、pin17 SIG_ EN 64.9k up to 3.3V
4、pin21/pin27 EQ_ SEL / A0 and A1 were floating
5、PIN 20 PRE_ SEL floating
6、PIN TX_ TERM_ CTL floating
Questions:
1. Is there a problem with the current hardware configuration?
2. How to verify the status of retimer, such as standby, normal work?
3. How to further analyze the problem that retimer has no output?
