HD3SS3411-Q1: AC coupling capacitor of Ap (Pin 2)

Dears,

I'd like to ask something about circuit application of HD3SS3411-Q1. I want to know that the AC coupling capacitor on Pin 2(Ap) is needed like attached circuit and application. There is an AC coupling capacitor on opposite side of SVM_IN, and also there is an AC coupling capacitor on opposite side of AVN_DISP_OUT even though these coupling capacitors can not see in attached circuit. Is the AC coupling capacitor needed on Pin 2(Ap)? Please check it and let me know that.

Hi Jeffery,

HD3SS3411 is a passive mux so unless you are protecting the mux from a common mode voltage above the common mode voltage range of HD3SS3411, AC coupling is not needed on both sides of the device. Also it seems that MAX96705 is your signal source and should be connected to Cp instead of Ap? Please correct me if I am mistaken.

Hi Malik,

Thanks for your support. The signal source of this system is SVM_IN and SER_HD, and it is switched to SVM_IN or SER_HD. I think that you can understand the signal fow of this system.
