Hello,

I have some doubts about automatic polarity detection on the 1000Base-T side. Can i swap D+ with D-? What i have to do for compensating it?

I know that other PHYs are capable of detecting a polarity inversion and correct it automatically, independently for each pair.

I read that mirror mode might by related to that, but i do not want to swap pair A with pair D etc.

    Hi Lorenzo,

    The DP83867 can detect polarity swaps automatically, there is no setting needed to enable this function. Mirror mode is a separate feature from polarity detection, so it does not affect the PHY's ability to detect the polarity swaps.
