Hi Edward,
The TUSB1210 is a transceiver that interfaces between ULPI and USB. It can be used as part of a USB host or device. Please note that USB does not support peer to peer communication so one of the host PC will need to shift roles to device mode for USB communication to take place.

Hi JMMN,
Thanks for your prompt response.
Does that mean we may need two TUSB1210 and dedicate software to support peer to peer communication?
We saw some active USB cable specified with this capability. Do we have some application notes or reference design for these applications?
Thanks for your help.
Edward
Hi Edward,
We do not have a reference design for this type of application. The TUSB1210 transceiver should be configured into the correct mode by the controller. There are various OTG controllers or role swap capable controllers in the market, but TI does not have a specific solution for this application.
