According to the USB3 specification, the U3 suspend current is limited to 2.5 mA. However, TUSB501 datasheet says that it consumes 6.1 mA in average in U2/U3 link state. As an additional example, TUSB551 consumes 12.20 mA in U2/U3. Does it mean that a bus-powered device cannot be USB-certified if it includes TUSB501 or TUSB551 onboard?
