Hello,

I was wondering when TI plans to make available higher data rate replacements for DS90UB953A-Q1/DS90UB954-Q1 serializer / deserializer devices?

The camera design I'm working on uses 4K @ 60fps 4 lane MIPI CSI-2 image sensor and the devices TI offers are not suitable. Would the GMSL 2 devises be a better option?

    If you are interested in roadmap FPD-Link products to support higher data rate requirements, please contact your local TI sales representative. On this public forum we can only discuss publicly released devices which are available on TI.com

    Thanks for your reply.

    I did as you suggested and contacted Arrow as the only authorised TI distributor in my country. The response from Arrow Asia (Singapore) said: "I cannot even talk to him about these part numbers".

    If those devices are so secret why a company in California has cameras based on them on their website?

    So it seems I can't get a stright answer about those devices availability.

    I suggest staying in touch with your local TI sales representatives moving forward to touch base on availability of roadmap technologies. Once developing technologies become available publicly, then they will be able to assist you. This is all the information we can share here about future FPD-Link offerings
