DS90UB941AS-Q1: About indirect registers configuration

Hello,

Our customer used DS90UB941AS about this application: MCU->LCDIF->MIPI-DSI->DS90UB941AS->DS90UB936AS->CSI-2->MCU。The CSI-2 of UB936 output is then transmitted to MCU again.  

Now the question is that how to configure these registers: DSI_HSW_CFG_HI、DSI_HSW_CFG_LO、DSI_VSW_CFG_HI、DSI_VSW_CFG_LO、DSI_SYNC_DLY_CFG_HI、DSI_SYNC_DLY_CFG_LO.

    Hello Kailyn,

    DS90UB941AS-Q1 is not compatible with DS90UB936-Q1. If you would like to convert from DSI to CSI-2, then you should use DS90UB941AS-Q1 -> DS90UB940N-Q1 

    The registers in question are only needed when the DSI source uses Event Mode or Burst Mode. They are not required when the source uses Non-Burst Sync Mode. Can you confirm the source DSI configuration?

    Hello Kailyn,

    DS90UB941AS-Q1 and DS90UB936-Q1 use different FPD-Link frame formats since they are from our display portfolio and camera portfolio respectively. DS90UB94x devices are compatible with 94x and 92x products.
