TPS65987D: delay for I2C

Part Number: TPS65987D

Hello TI,

we have made a test board with TPS65987D and use it as a MASTER with I2C3 to configure a redriver SLAVE.

The problem is that the redriver is powerd on after TPS closes PP_HV1 switch. In this case when we send for example cable orientation even , the redriver is not booted yet and ready to accept I2C communication.

1) Is there a way to delay I2C3 communication after event is triggered ?

2) I can see that there is a IRQ signal pin for I2C3 , can that be used to control communication from master?

Regards,

Eriks
