TUSB1044: Does support flipping of USB3.1 / DP signals

We are designing testing features to our customer and they need test USB Type-C cable flip without removing cable from the products. Does TUSB1044 support that?

Hi Risto,

If I understand the requirement correctly you can change the internal mux configuration through I2C while the cable is connected (after power-on reset). To do this customer will need to change the FLIP bit. What is being tested in this scenario?

Our customer want to test USB Type-C cable flip without cable removal. This will be in fully automated final tester of multiple products. With this IC we are able switch for example TX1 to TX2 and back?
