SN65DSI84: There is jitter symptom and horizontal sync. issue on LVDS panel.

Hi Guys,

I use SN65DSI84 to convert MIPI signals to LVDS signals to enable TIANMA TM070JDHG30.

There are two problems needs your comment.

1. Jitter symptom while moving USB mouse , tap touch panel or typing with USB keyboard.

2. Vertical blank line on left side of the screen.

Below list are related information.

LVDS Panel : TIANMA TM070JDHG30

Resolution : 1280x800

DSI clock : 74.25MHz.

LVDS clock : 74.25MHz

DSI Channel : 1

DSI Lanes : 4

LVDS Channel : 1

LVDS Lanes : 4

DE Mode is enabled.

HS/VS modes are disabled.

Add frame rate information.

Frame Rate :60 Hz

Hi Wilson,

Please fill out your settings in the DSI-Tuner and attach the .dsi file (press "ctrl+e" to export the .dsi file after entering the settings). Please also provide the datasheet for the panel.

Also, do you see any issue if you enable the test pattern?

1. I can not upload .dsi file and panel data sheet. May I send the two files to you by email ?

2. Test pattern has the same jitter and horizontal sync. issues.

Hi Wilson,

The DSI CLK cannot be the same frequency as the LVDS CLK. For their system the DSI CLK must be exactly 222.75 MHz. Additionally, the divisor value should be 3. Please have them fix this in the DSI-Tuner and regenerate the settings to use. Also ensure the DSI source output settings match what was input in the DSI-Tuner.

My problems was fixed with below two action items.

1. Configure the DSI clock to 222.75MHz.

2. Replace new converter board.

I use SN65DSI84 to convert Single Channel DSI to Dual-Link LVDS Bridg,now I have a problem:

The screen appears when i click on the Settings option.
