TLK105L: Hardware reset

Part Number: TLK105L
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLK105

Hi Team,

During power up, sometimes the TLK105L starts normally but sometimes it can't because an external clock source is use for clock. The reset pin is tied permanently to the supply. The timing diagram at Figure 4-1 of the datasheet shows that the external clock source should be present at the XI pin before the supply (VDD) is turned ON and the Reset pin goes to logic 1 (high). In the customers application the timing diagram of Figure 4-1 is not possible because the VDD and Reset pin is always ahead of the clock.

The customer have already tried software reset using register 0x0000 and 0x001F but the problem still persist. Is there any other way to reset all the registers or a Hardware Rest is the only solution?

Regards,

Danilo
