DS90UB960-Q1: Possible reasons for register 0x7a/0x7b

Hi Team,

When the input signal keeps the same, sometimes the 0x7a/0x7b registers becomes 0xf/0xe, which means there is errors in packet.

Could you please help analysis the possible reasons and solving methods? Thanks!

    Hi,

    reg. 0x7a/7b record the error from CSI frame package, if it has error, it means either the input signals to 953 has error or the link transmission has error, you can check the reg. 0x4c/0x4d/0x4e/0x55/0x56 understand if the fpd-link channel has error. 

    if these registers indicate the link has error, you need improve the system design from clocking, power supply, jitter generation, channel parameters (S11/s12, impedance etc.) and check if all these design can catch the system design request (ub953/954 have electrical spec. for this system design)
