Greetings,

We received the IBIS-AMI package for the DS100BR111

The .s4p files do not operate. Inspection of the file tx_termination.s4p for example, show no connectivity between ports 1 and 2 or any other port for that matter, it also fails passivity check:

Whereas properly constructed file will show 'Strong' or 'Weak' correspondence between the ports:

Any advice?

Hi Shalmon,

I just used ADS 2020 and ran DS100BR111 example project. I was able to replicate DS100BR111 ADS project guide example project as noted in figure 4 of the user guide.

Also, i checked tx_termination s4p file. I see S21 is odB while S22 is -28 @ 200MHz. I believe this means there is signal path between input and output(not vise versa).

Suggestion is to try the model as is just to make sure we can duplicate user guide diagrams. Then you can plug in your own media s-parameters.
