Hi all,

I want to test SER and DESER with laptop and LCD monitor by purchasing, is there any way that I can connect laptop with SER and computer monitor with DESER?

Hi Garam,

With 949 EVM, you can connect it directly to a laptop with HDMI port. You would then need to take a 948 EVM and look for an OLDI to DVI or OLDI to HDMI converter to connect to a display.

Do we have OLDI to HDMI converter EVM?

If I use 925 and 926, 925 can be connected with laptop directly, and 926 evm also can be connected with monitor by RGB cable directly withou any converter?

Hi Garam,

Do, we dont have the converter EVM avaliable at the moment.

925 is different since it has RGB input. Typically laptop has no RGB output ports, you may need another converter for RGB input.
