TPS25750EVM: Controlling BQ25713 or BQ25731 with TPS25750EVM

I am trying to use the Application Customization Tool for the TPS25750EVM in order to get a TPS25750EVM to control a BQ25713EVM.

When I start a new project there is an option to integrate a BQ25731 in the project (I realize this is a different part but I thought it might help guide me), however I don't see any difference in the project when I select that. I was expecting to see different settings in the 'Port Settings' -> 'App Config Register' window but they are still all blank. Where would I see the configuration the TPS25750EVM has to control the BQ25731?

Also will I be able to have a TPS25750EVM control a BQ25713EVM with the right configuration of the Application Customization Tool for the TPS25750EVM? Any demo projects for that? Any advice on the wiring and jumper setup necessary for the two EVM boards?

    Hi David,

    You won't be able to see the differences in the project settings as the battery charger settings are configured by the TPS25750D via I2C in the background. At the moment we do not support configurations for the BQ25713. I will discuss this with my team further and provide you with a response next week.

    Hi David,

    May I know what is your application for this type of a project? We currently plan to support BQ25792 and the BQ25731/30 with the TPS25750. Would the TPS25731/30 be a good alternative option for your design?
