FWIW, I came to ask this very question.

We also need information about the materials used in the part's construction, to verify the outgassing properties of the commercial/edu chips, and for our paperwork on the flight side.

So far, my email conversation with your tech support team has been markedly unhelpful, including sending me a materials list that says the materials are unknown.

If you want us to fly this chip, and you clearly do, we need the information to do so.

It looks MIL-PRF-38534 is a spec for Multi-Chip Modules (MCM), which doesn't apply to SN65C1168EMPWSEP (single die). 

The EEE-INST-002 is a standard for NASA to establish baseline criteria for selection, screening, qualification, and derating of EEE parts for use on NASA GSFC space flight projects.  I don't think SN65C1168EMPWSEP has tested for this either. 

I'm still searching for the device fit your need. I will provide the information about the material when I update you.
