Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN65DP141,
In SN65DP141 data sheet (www.ti.com/.../sllses6) page 4, it says "LOW: enables GPIO mode" and " (with 200-kΩ Internal pull-up) " , so it should be pulled down for GPIO mode.
However, in the user guide of DP141RLJEVM (https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/sllu242), page 4, Table 2, row 2, it listed as "J2 I2C_EN Open - GPIO Mode". Since there is internal pull-up, it will be high when the pin is set open. Then, according to previous data sheet, it is in I2C mode. For the EVM board, should the J2 be set to Low, so that it is in GPIO mode? I don't think keeping the pin open will make it in GPIO mode.
Thanks
