Hi,

I try to find maximum allowable trace length on PCB after installing the TUSB212 onto it.

Can you give me the trace length specification of TUSB212, as i have quite a long trace on my PCB for USB2.0 .

Hi Desmond,

There is no exact spec for the max allowable trace length as signal integrity performance varies greatly with PCB layout and stackup/material. What is the trace length you are looking to support here?

Hi Desmond,

I would recommend placing TUSB212 around 14-16 inches in the path

Do you mean 12 inches from the USB port or 12 inches from the PCH.
