Hi team,

Could you please help to check if frequently checking the 0x0198 register for the SQI value will cause link down?

As well as TDR, if we trigger TDR, it will cause link down, right?

Hi Fery,

Triggering TDR when the link is up will cause link down. Reading the SQI register will not affect the link as the SQI run autonomously in the background whenever link is up.
