TPS25750: Ambient temperature for specific condition

Hello,

According to datasheet of TPS25750, TI define ambient temperature of TPS25750D according to usecase.

I would like you to confirm about available ambient temperature for following case.

* Ipp_5v ≦ 3A, Ipp_hv ≦ 5A and Ipp_cable ≦ 315mA

I think that this is most likely usecase (Sink 100W, Source 15W)

Can you please clarify your operating condition? You cannot supply VBUS from both PPHV and PP5V at the same time.

You are correct. I misunderstood.

For following spec.

* IPP_5V = 0, IPP_HV ≤ 5 A, IPP_CABLE≤ 315 mA

1. I believe that IPP_CABLE include supply for VCONN.

Is my understanding correct ?

2. Does it apply for both sink and source ?

Hello,

1. The IPP_CABLE includes supply for VCONN.

2. It specifically applies for sinking from VBUS to PPHV.
