I'm trying to understand full capability and implications of the # of Source PDO's programmed into TPS65988. In this case, only considering Port-2
- In the config tool, appears there are actually 2 Banks of PDO's that can be programmed. What is the intent of these 2 banks, and how are they typically utilized in a system?
- Can the banks be 2 different sets of PDO's, that are selected based on some condition on Port-1, for example, enabling one of the banks based on the Port-1 Negotiated Contract?
- What is the max # of PDO's one can advertise? The tool appears to allow up to 7 PDO's per Bank, for total of 14 (including the mandatory fixed 5V PDO1 in each bank).
- Is that accurate for max # of PDO's? (7 per bank)
- Are there negative implications of utilizing this many PDO's in system?
