I would like to know how to design peripheral circuit of DP83TC811R-Q1.

As shown in the figure, what are these resistors and capacitors for? How to choose capacitors and inductors?

    Hello,

    The RC circuit you have highlighted is to filter the MDI signals for better electromagnetic emissions and immunity (EMI/EMC) performance. There are optional in the design and can be included if desired.

    Hi

    I see that the data sheet describes CM Termination, MDI Coupling, and ESD shunt, but does not specify RC filtering.

    How should I design this RC circuit? Are there specific design guidelines?

    Hello,

    I'm sorry for the confusion. The description above was meant as an overview of the 4 components. They image you provided does a better job explaining what each component's purpose is in the circuit. There are not specific guidelines in implementing this circuit, it is optional for improving the ESD and EM immunity performance of your design.
