Hi FPD-Link Experts,

My customer has an application with the DS90UB953A where they would like to disable LP mode for the MIPI inputs and enable HS receive. This seems feasible with registers 0x22 and 0x23 but there is a comment that this is only for system debug.

Is it possible to set to HS mode with LP mode disabled for the typical application? Anything they need to double check?

If those registers are set, does that keep them in HS mode until power down?

Hi Reed,

0x22 = 0x4F to enable HSRX on D0-D4

0x23 = 0x40 to disable LP on D0-D4

Is there any concern using this for the application instead of debug like the datasheet says?

Hi Reed,

You should just use it for debug purposes. The TX uses HS to LP to trigger end of packet, so I you should not leave LP disabled for normal applications.
