Hi Team,

When the bus has data, will DP83TC811 be waked up and INH is low？

Sometimes the bus has data, but the data is not for DP83TC811 and for other device which is also on the bus. Customer don't want DP83TC811 be waked up when the data is not for it.

Hi Amelie,

Can you confirm you are referencing the DP83TC811 Sleep functionality, not say WoL?

The DP83TC811 supports point-to-point communication, with a Master and Slave configuration. Can you clarify what other devices may be sharing the bus with the PHY?

Hi Amelie,

In Sleep mode, the DP83TC811 will wake when any energy is detected on the MDI. It will not analyze the incoming data to determine the recipient but wake up, and set INH low when any energy is detected.
