Hi,

TUSB9261 only supports up to SATA Gen 2 devices.

Hi Malik,

As I know SATA III is backward compatible with SATA II.

Am i correct if SATA III connect with TUSB9261 , SATA III will down grade it speed as SATA II speed to work with TUSB9261 ?

Hi,

That is correct but customer should be aware that only Gen II speeds will be used as this will effect transfer speeds expected.
